Welcome to the Fort Lauderdale Woman's Club! Our membership consists of women of all ages - from our youngest in their 20's to the oldest in their 90's!

Our meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of the month except for June and July at 12 noon. Board meetings are held on the 2nd Friday of each month except June, at 12 noon.

We are affiliated with the GFWC Florida Federation of Women's Clubs and the General Federation of Women's Clubs. Our colors are red and green and our club flower is the red hibiscus. Our motto is:

"For the cause that needs assistance...
For the wrongs that need resistance...
For the future in the distance...
And the good that we may do."

Arts Chairman Margarethe Sorensen has announced plans for the Annual Arts and Crafts Show at the regular Meeting Friday, February 17        12 noon        All members are invited to participate. Information is available at GFWC Florida website. On the top, click on Resources. Scroll down on the left to "Contests." The 2nd and 3rd items - "Arts & Crafts Information" and "Arts & Crafts Forms" - have all the needed info.They are available in Word and in PDF.
